Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Accounts Payable Accountant to work with our International Partners.

The Accounts Payable Accountant will improve company’s purchase to payment process. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role will be responsible for processing supplier quotes and purchase orders, and for ensuring all supplier invoices are received, authorized, and processed in a timely manner.
 

what you will be doing:

• Managing all inbound supplier communications
• Building relationships with key suppliers
• Processing quotes and raising purchase orders, working with the operations team where most spend is incurred
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations, dealing with supplier queries, opening / closing supplier accounts
• Ensuring all supplier invoices are received, authorized, and processed in a timely manner
• Assisting with the preparation of the supplier payment runs
• Assisting with the accounts payable month end process to ensure the deadlines are met
• Resolution of invoice queries
• Assisting the Procurement department in approving invoices, alongside resolving queries surrounding their processing.

what we are looking for:

• University degree
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken
• Good computer skills (MS Office): good command of Excel and Word
• Accounts Payable experience or similar
• AAT qualified or working toward relevant accounting qualification
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Xero accounting system
• Keen to get hands on experience in a fast-changing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communicator both written and verbally
• Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated
• Reliable
• Comfortable working with multiple business areas to obtain POs and invoices
